Paper dosa

Dosas are a south indian speciality.Its made from fermented batter and is usually served at breakfast time.Udipi hotels serve the best variety.




Ingredients:
 Long grain rice-150 gms
Urad dal-50 gms
Fenugreek seed-1tsp
Ghee-1tsp
Gun powder masala-1 pinch
Salt.

Soak the rice, dal and methi seeds for 3-4 hours.Grind it into a smooth paste with little water.Cover it and leave it to ferment overnite.Add the salt to the batter after its fermented.
Take a non-stick pan.grease it.The temperature of the pan should not be very hot or else you wud not be able to thin out the batter.Pour the batter and move the ladle in circle from the centre outwards.Leave it on the pan.You can scrape out any extra batter to make the dosa cripier.Add few drops of ghee and sprinkle a pinch of gun powder masala.
Serve hot with sambar, chutney or pickle.
